Microsoft had released the technical preview of its upcoming Windows 10. The look and feel is not much different compared to Windows 8. In Windows 10, the Start menu is back and resizable.
In Windows 8, once the System boot up we will be presented with the Metro UI by default. In Windows 10, the Metro UI is gone (in desktop mode on my laptop without touch support) and the user will go the Desktop with resizable Start menu with Metro interface.
In my opinion, for users who don’t have touch support on their laptop / pc, Windows 10 would be much easier to use and navigate than the Windows 8.
Here is a screenshot of Windows 10 Technical Preview installed on my laptop.
