After about two weeks of testing, Apple officially released iOS 8.1.1 for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices.
According to Apple’s release notes, iOS 8.1.1 includes bug fixes and increased stability and performance improvements for both the iPad 2 and the iPhone 4s, two of the older devices that support the operating system.
To update to the newest iOS version, go to Setting > General > Software Update. You have to be connected to a WiFi to download the update over-the-air.
